The West Covina High School Performing Arts Academy (WCHS PAA) continues to celebrate the incredible talents of our Teaching Artists. Today, we turn our spotlight to Tonatiuh, a versatile Television, Film, Theatre, and Voice Over artist, who shares his wealth of experience with our theatre students through private one-on-one and small group instruction.
A Multifaceted Artist
Tonatiuh’s impressive career spans the realms of television, film, theatre, and voice over work. His most recent accomplishments include a series regular role on the ABC Drama “Promised Land” and a remarkable three-season recurring guest starring role on “Vida,” a critically acclaimed series on Starz.
Beyond his artistic pursuits, Tonatiuh is a passionate advocate for stories that drive political change. He believes that artists have a profound responsibility to create the world they want to see and to invite their communities into that vision by holding a mirror to themselves.
